“Thanks again for all your amazing work with the flowers. Everyone said how beautiful they were and they look stunning in all the pictures. They were perfect! Thanks again!
Cheers! Kara.”
OMG i can’t say enough about this wedding; This amazing location, hidden way in Pitt Meadows is literally everything the name entails, a “Field of Dreams”. The owners (Shelley and Frank) only take 4 events per year, and put SO MUCH into making sure each event is beyond perfect. The grounds are spectacular, the landscaping is exquisite (they are commercial flower growers) and there is unique elements every where you turn. A romantic pond side Pergola for your ceremony, stunning dome tent is more the large enough to accommodate a 130 + event, a huge field for your cocktail hours/games, and the most adorable side deck/gazebo for dancing!! The owners were kind enough to let me in the day prior to hang the draping, they already have the lighting in the tent!
PS These are my images, sorry for the quality
Kara was all over the details for this event – vintage, heirloom and DIY elements every where you look!!!
The ceremony was held under a beautiful gazebo, which we accented with a hanging chandelier and hanging mason jars filled with hand tied bouquets. The guest surrounded the deck, under a beautiful canopy of trees, there was even a few friendly “secret guest” to oversee the ceremony (the perks of a wedding on a hobby farm)
After the ceremony the Bar was ready to serve the guest, and the field was set up for games!! the space was even set up for a late night bonfire (if fire season permits outside burning) I love the details that Kara put into her bean bags, her popcorn bar and the bar menu and details
While their guest entertained themselves during cocktail hour, Kara, Mat and their wedding party went off to the nearby dykes for some photos, captured by Mat’s aunt, Michelle Rideout.
The tent was set up Tuscan style, with long family tables, with white linen, lace runners and the white garden chairs. The centrepiece included a collection of white garden lanterns, Herb pots, and hand tied bouquets in mason jars. We draped the tent with chiffon to give the space a light and airy feel
Truth be told, if I had a choice, my wedding dessert would be jut like this, lots of homemade Pies!!
Kara even had flip flops ready for her guest to dance the night away in. She even had glow sticks to add that extra bit of fun for the evening entertainment
Thank you Kara and Matt for trusting us to bring your vision to life!!
